Grab your camera (or any camera, like I did..) and take a picture of two different things. Anything you want. Then post the lovely photos on your blog, including explanations of why you took the pictures you did! Here are mine:
This one ^ shows my most current project. Today, I bought some yarn and learned to knit from my mom just so I could make a huge and warm blanket for my boyfriend. (I am SUPER proud of myself for my progress in one day.)
My second picture is of my beautiful scented oil burner. It was a Christmas gift from my older brother, and I didn't have oil to use in it until recently. Now I use it all the time. My room smells like gardenias. (The figures next to the oil burner are a fairy man and woman. I gave him a red ribbon scarf and her a paper umberella)

I really want to learn to knit! I tried a few years ago, but I don't have the patience to get very good. Maybe I'll try again soon.

That's the way I felt about knitting too. This was actually me re-learning it. I think all I needed was to be inspired by a real project. I plan on giving it to my boyfriend for our two-year anniversaire in november.

I'm so impressed by your knitting! I am completely terrible at it and have a bag full of abandoned projects in my closet. Looks like it will be a lovely gift!
Thank you! I started out pretty slow just to make sure I wouldn't make any mistakes. My mom has grabbed it multiple times the last two days to say, "I'm impressed. It looks as good as what I would do." It's really quite amusing.
